Steps to Reproduce
1. Add two datetime control in dynamic layout.
2. Configure the date control as "Display value using read-only formatting" checked and Allow text Entry as "No"
3. Run the case and select an invalid date from the date control.
4. When the property level validation is fired in one date control then the other date control hides.
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules :-
With "Allow text entry" option selected date control initially does not show the input box next to date calendar. When an invalid date is selected then if there are two date fields, the date field with validation error becomes visible making the other one seem like field is invisible(means only calendar control is visible not the input box).
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:
Using freeform layout instead of dynamic layout resolved issue.
