Summary
The ‘addToDate’ function is not taking Daylight Saving Time (DST) into account.
Error Messages
No error messages.
Steps to Reproduce
Not applicable.
Root Cause
The function AddToDate has no inherent understanding of daylight saving hence when the time changes the time is wrong by +1 hour or -1 hour.
Resolution
Replace AddToDate with the function below:
addTime(startDateTime, days, hours, minutes, seconds, useBusinessCalendar, calendarName)
The calendar provided to the function needs to DST aware.
