Decimal value is truncating to 4 when user enters 5 decimals

Summary



Decimal value is truncating to four decimals when user enters five decimals, that is the number will be saved as 0.1235 instead of 0.12345.


Error Messages



Not Applicable.


Steps to Reproduce



1. Try to update 'threshold value' 
for example: 0.1234 is modified to 0.12345 and click on save.
 It will generate approval number.
2. Logoff and login to same application with different user name.
4. Search for approval number from the dashboard open it and click on submit button by entering note. After approval is done logoff and login to same application with previous user
Issue : See the updatevalue the number will be saved as 0.1235 instead of 0.12345.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules The issue is with AuditThreshold property rule form whose advanced tab has pyDecimalPrecision qualifier with value 4.


Resolution



Perform the following local-change: 
Increase the value in pyDecimalPrecision qualifier by saving it in higher ruleset.
