Decision Table returns an old value

When checking out a Decision Table and editing it, those changes are picked up while the rule is checked out.

Once it is checked back in, the system uses the previous version of the rule at run time.

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a decision table.
  2. Use the decision table in an activity.
  3. Check out the rule, edit it, and check in the rule.
  4. Run the activity.
  5. Observe that the previous version of the rule is used.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

There is a problem in the checksum calculation for VTable, which affects invalidation of the VTable cache entry for the rule.

Perform the following local-change:

Set "initialization/persistrequestor/usepagelevelpassivation" to "true" in prconfig.xml. This bypasses the defect.
