Decision Table validation check does not consider combined rows

Summary



In a Decision Table(DT), if you use an expression such as, ".property1 - .property2", then the DT displays a logic conflict. The DT displays the logic conflict for some of the data in the first column but there is similar data without any reported conflicts.

Steps to Reproduce



1. Create a DT with two columns.
2. Use an expression such as, ".property1 - .property2" in the first column and anything in the second column.
3. Use a similar expression in another row of the first column and different data in the second column. Ensure that there is no logic conflict.
4. Click show logic conflict to observe the issue.


Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.

Resolution



This issue is scheduled to be resolved in Pega 7.1.9.
