DeclareIndex not getting fired

Summary



The declare index rule configured on a embedded page is not getting fired .

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a WO.
  2. Add a pagelist field and insert values into that field.
  3. The values are not getting reflected in the declare index table


ROOT CAUSE  

pxResults is mapped to a different class in the declare index rule under pages and classes tab.

Identification of Root Cause

SMA->Declarative Rules management ->select the ruleset list according to the order listed in the operator profile -> GetCache Detail ->select the class in which the declare index rule is present -> search with the pzInskey of the declare index rule ->select the appropriate rule -> get rule detail .


The class of the properties on which the declare index rule is created will be listed over here as shown below.


Here the pxResults page is getting listed as of class @baseclass

Resolution



pxResutls page is given as of class @baseclass in the pages and classes tab of the declare index rule .
