Disabling High Availability notification

Summary



When the session/HA/crash/EnableUserNotification is set to false, the High Availability(HA) session recovery functionality is also disabled. The user notification cannot be disabled without removing the recovery functionality.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Set Pega-ProcessEngine • session/ha/crash/EnableUserNotification to false.
  2. Crash the CPMInteraction portal browser session.
  3. Log in back in to the CPMInteraction portal. Browser session recovery is disabled.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.  The effect of "EnableUserNotification" setting was incorrect.

Resolution



This issue is resolved in Pega 7.1.9.
