Steps to Reproduce
- Open the attachment section.
- Drag and drop a file in Firefox.
Root Cause
Drag and drop is not supported because it uses ActiveX, which is only in Internet Explorer.
Resolution
When non-Internet Explorer browser is used, a screen without the option is opened:
In Pega 7, ActiveX dependency of this feature is removed. It uses HTML 5 approach to make the feature browser agnostic. Backporting that effort is not feasible because HTML 5 is not used in PRPC 6.
