System is upgraded from PRPC 6.3 SP1 to Pega 7.1.9. The dropdown or autocomplete displays "&" instead of "&".

Include some special characters for drop-down options. Observe the special characters displayed in ASCII format in User Interface (UI).
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
Resolution
Apply HFix-27712.
