DWA External Assignment link does not work

SA-107549

Summary

When implementing a Directed Web Access (DWA) solution to receive feedback from external users using the out-of-the-box (OOTB) HandleProviderGrievance flow (available in Pega HealthCare Appeals and Grievance Management application (HCAGM)), the email is sent to the user. However, the PerformExternal harness fails to load the Assignment UI that is required to fill the form before submission.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a Grievance case from the out-of-the-box HandleProviderGrievance flow.
  2. Implement a DWA solution to receive the Feedback from an external user using the out-of-the-box HandleProviderGrievance flow.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
The out-of-the-box FlowAction ProviderFeedback in the PegaHC-AG-Work class contains the ReviewProviderFeedback privilege. This privilege is missing in the out-of-the-box ExternalProvider Operator's AGM:External access group.

Resolution

Perform either of the following local-changes:
  • Use the AGM:CaseManager access role to display the flow action during DWA since the ReviewProviderFeedback privilege is present in the access role.
  • Create any access role for the external user with the ReviewProviderFeedback privilege in the access role.
