Dynamic Select does not load values in Chrome V43.0.2357.81

Summary



When a Dynamic Select is displayed in Chrome 43v, it is loaded with empty values and "Uncaught TypeError: Illegal invocation" error is observed. 

Issue is specific to Chrome 43v.

Steps to Reproduce



1. Create a Section or a FlowAction with DynamicSelect, sourced from a ListView. 
2. Run the rule directly. 
3. Copy the URL and run the same in Chrome 43. 
4. Observe that dynamic select displays no values. 


Root Cause



The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules. 

PRPC is setting a JS property when it is not declared, causing JS exception in pega_tools_xmldocument JS file.


Resolution



This issue is resolved by HFix-22550.
