Edit in Excel does not work in decision table rules

Summary
Edit in Excel is not working for decision table in any environment. It occurs for all the decision tables.
Error Messages
Not Applicable.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Click 'Edit in Excel' for Decision table.
2. Make the changes in Excel.
3. Save the excel sheet, but the changes are not effected.
Root Cause
The macro setting was disabled and hence the edit in excel was not working.
Resolution
Enable macros in excel macros settings.
