Email is getting delivered without attachments

SA-38781

Summary

In Pega 7.1.5, a user was able to successfully send an email with attachments to the recipients.

In Pega 7.2.2, the email is getting delivered without attachments.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

Use the VerifySendCorr flow without specifying the BatchSend parameter.

Root Cause

The first level reason for the difference in the Pega 7.1.5 behavior and the Pega 7.2.2 behavior is that in Pega 7.2.2, the VerifySendCorr flow passes the BatchSend parameter through, whereas in Pega 7.1.5, that parameter was hardcoded to "true".

However, the deeper cause is not known, since the email should still be sent properly when the parameter is "false".

Resolution

The BatchSend parameter is being set explicitly to "true".
