Email Listener is taking long time to process emails



Email listener takes ~20 minutes to process 10MB attachment emails. Size is currently set to 1024000 in DSS. Expected response time is <5 min.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Configure Email listener, Email account.
  2. Send email with ~10MB attachment.
  3. Observe the time it takes to process the email, it would be more than 5 mins. Goal is to bring this time below 5 mins.

Root Cause

A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment.


Perform the following local-change:

Set mail.imap.partialfetch property value to false in receiver section of the email account using the Advanced button.
