Emails with scheduled report are not sent to user
User schedules a report definition to run regularly. However, emails with the scheduled report are not sent to the user though the scheduled task runs successfully.
Steps to Reproduce
- Set up a schedule for a report using the out-of-the-box feature
- Email does not generate with the report attachment
An issue in the custom application code or rules. The outbound email is configured incorrectly.
Perform the following local-change:
Follow the below steps to configure the outbound email:
- Navigate to Records > Integration-Resources > EmailAccount. Instances of the email account display
- Select the email account that needs to be configured. A window with Email address, Password and SMTP host fields displays
- Fill the fields with the required details
- Verify the configuration using the Test Connectivity button
