Enable Touch Id check box is not visible



Touch ID authentication using hybrid application is not working.

After enabling touchid in the application, user is not able to see check box on the login page and application does not save user credentials.

Check box (Remember me with touch ID) is not displayed and user is not able to use touch ID feature.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Download Pega Mobile express application on iOS with touch ID enabled.
2. Access the environment by entering URL.
3. Observe login page do not display (Remember me with touch ID) check box.

Root Cause

An issue in the custom application code or rules.

The issue is with the web-login HTML rule used by the users, and also with also be with an existing DSS "weblogin/mobile/enabletouchid", which should be set to "True", any ways it will be "True" by default.


Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:

Make sure the DSS setting "weblogin/mobile/enabletouchid" is set to "True" and the "Web-Login" HTML rule is modified properly in the custom unauthenticated ruleset.
