Error importing CMADataInstances.jar from CMA v7.14

SA-25418

Summary

Importing CMADataInstances.jar from CMA v7.14 media is successful only when Administrator credentials are used.  If an operator with CMA rulesets in its access group is used, the import fails trying to add entries to the pr_index table stating the property value is too large for the pxIndexPurpose column.

Error Messages

Steps to Reproduce

Import the JAR using an operator, which includes CMA rulesets in the access group.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules:
In the CMA rulesets, Rule-Declare-Index rule PEGAHC-DATA-PARTY-PROVIDER-PRACTITIONER INDEX_PROVIDERAFFILIATIONS_AFFILIATIONDATA rule has a pyPurpose property value of Index_ProviderAffiliations_AffiliationData. This value is too large for the pxIndexPurpose database column of 32 characters.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:
Alter the pxIndexPurpose column in the pr_index table to 64 characters.
