Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Upgrade from Pega 7.1.8 to Pega 7.2.2.
  2. Set the Min/Max field, on the Presentation tab, for the property.
  3. Enter a value for Minimum characters.

Root Cause

Three message labels were customized:

'pyMessageLabel • The field', 'pyMessageLabel • should be at least' and 'pyMessageLabel • characters long'

However, the error message was not from these three different pyMessageLabel rules, but from the length_minCharsMsgFull rule.

Resolution

Perform a Save-as of the length_minCharsMsgFull rule and translate this rule.
