Error occurs on using SAML authentication with Internet Explorer



Error occurs when using SAML authentication with Internet Explorer. However, on performing a browser refresh, the application loads correctly.

Error Messages

Page not found.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch a standard SAML configuration using new PRAuth Servlet
  2. Log in to the application using Internet Explorer 11

Root Cause

On the final redirect during SAML authentication, which was used to switch the AccessGroup hash to the authenticated value, a HTTP 303 is returned with no location header and with the payload for the portal displayed. With no location header, Internet Explorer does not render the response and displays an error message.
