Steps to Reproduce

Perform a Major Skim of the application ruleset.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
Pega application incorrectly performed validation while skimming. This validation was not required in the application validation mode (not a ruleset pre-requisite)  because the new ruleset did not belong to any application. Hence, rule resolution was incorrect and caused errors.

Resolution

Apply HFix-43435.
