Error occurs while accessing Predictive Diagnostic Cloud logs

SA-82308

Summary

Error occurs while accessing the Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud (PDC) logs.

Error Messages

Cache declaratives/declarepages target size exceeded limit.

Steps to Reproduce

Unknown.

Root Cause

The engine code internally maintains three types of sizes for maintenance of MRU Caches (TARGET, LIMIT and MAX). Target size is 80% of the Limit size and Max size is 120% of the Limit size. Only the Limit size is tunable via prconfig/DSS. Hence, in this case on setting the Limit size as 1000, the following sizes are computed:
TARGET - 800, LIMIT – 1000 and MAX – 1200. PEGA0016 can be triggered via a 'Drain' maintenance which occurs on the Target size.

Resolution

Perform the following local-change:

Increase the Limit size of the 'declaratives/declarepages' MRU Cache to 2000. This will stop all the maintenance Pruning occurring and any PEGA0016 Alerts from getting triggered.
