Error on switching from tab which has table with expandable rows

Summary



An error message, Cannot render Section, displays when switching from a tab which has a table with expandable rows. This occurs when using the Internet Explorer browser.


Error Messages



Alert - SECU0001 - Unexpected properties received in HTTP request. The following unexpected properties were received in an HTTP request fro Thread PS1__TABTHREAD1/$WorkProcessing: Declare_pyDisplay.pyDCDisplayState.pyActiveDocumentType


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a case from the user portal
  2. Expand all the collapsible layouts
  3. Click a tab containing a table with expandable rows
  4. Switch to another tab


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.  

There is a difference between the event target in Internet Explorer and Chrome browsers which results in resetExecutionThread not resetting the thread back to the base-thread when the user clicks on the third tab.



Resolution

Apply HFix-44946.
