Error when adding items in a ListView through Shortcut in IE

Summary
Error occurs and select prompts do not populate correctly when adding items in a ListView through a Shortcut in Internet Explorer browser. However, the process works fine in Firefox and Chrome browsers.
The JavaScript error resolves and the prompt populates correctly if we private checkout the HarnessReview rule.

Object doesn't support property or method 'addEventListener'
Steps to Reproduce
- Open Project Task ListView
- Run the ListView
- Click Editing Append
- Click Calendar
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
Resolution
Apply HFix-40273.
