Errors occur when a load test is run using Decision Strategy Manager (DSM).
Error Messages
Presence Record update operation failed. Exceeded maximum attempts
Steps to Reproduce
Run a load test using DSM.
Root Cause
The Operator Presence is enabled, and the system is under heavy load. A lot requests are sent at once, overloading the Operator Presence system.
Resolution
Perform the following local-change:- Set the below Dynamic System Setting (DSS):
Purpose: prconfig/operatorpresence/enabled/default
Owning Ruleset: Pega-Engine
Value: false - Restart the application so the code changes are picked up
