Execution of user code in .NET framework is disabled

SA-48996

Summary

Report definitions display an error when common language runtime (CLR) is not enabled on the server. This occurs when the application is created using the Directly Capture Objectives (DCO).

Error Messages

Execution of user code in .NET framework is disabled. Enable 'clr_enabled' configuration option.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch the Sales Automation portal.
  2. Click the following menus: Contacts, Leads, and Households List. The results do not display and the error is generated in the Tracer and the logs.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

The CLR must remain disabled for better performance; however, this impacts a few report definitions. Additionally, the application details are hardcoded when they are created using DCO.

Resolution

Apply HFix-40096.
