Summary

When trying to create a BIX Extract rule that includes a Page Group property, in some cases the 'From Class' drop down does not populate in the Property Configurations window for that Page Group.

Steps to Reproduce

Create a Page Group that uses $CLASS or $ANY as its page definition.
Create an Extract Rule that includes this Page Group.
Click the gear icon next to this Page Group and observe that the From Class drop down does not contain anything.

Root Cause

The issue is that the Page Group is using $CLASS or $ANY as its page definition, which is not supported for BIX extracts. As the Page Group is not associated to any class, Pega cannot determine the properties to be shown in extract.

Resolution

To address this issue, the Page Group's page definition must specify an actual class, or the Extract rule can output to XML and use the getAllProperties option, which extracts the whole work object.
