Find by Ruleset, Version, Rule Type does not display any value

Summary



On opening the Find by RuleSet, Version, and Rule Type from the Find Rules option in Case Management, the Find by Ruleset, Version, Rule Type does not display any value.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to Configure > Case Management > Tools > Find Rules.
  2. Select the Find by Ruleset, Version, Rule Type option from the dropdown.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

In the pzFindRulesPreActivity, in  Step 2, the value that was set to Local.OptionsString contained additional spaces.

Hence, the Visible on Client condition is never True for this 'Find by' option (Find by Ruleset, Version, Rule Type).


Resolution



Update to Pega Platform 8.2.
