First column header aligns to the top in repeating grid layout

Summary



In the repeating grid layouts, the first column headings align to top of the cell, while the rest of the headings align to the center. This occurs post update to Pega 7.2.2 in the Internet Explorer browser only.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Update from Pega 7.1.8 to Pega 7.2.2.
  2. Add a grid layout in a section.
  3. Launch the portal and open a work object.
  4. Navigate to the screen that includes the grid layout. 


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules:

In the cell, style was set to Display:inline and height:100%. As a result, DIV with the header text used the height of the parent DIV.



Resolution



Perform the following local-change:

Modify the style to Height:auto.
