'Follow' functionality looks at wrong workpool

SA-45254

Summary

In Pega, when opening an assignment, user sees the section pyCaseTools on the right, within there, there is an option to 'Follow' a case.

If user clicks on it, it will be added to favorites, and should appear on the left navigation under the tile 'Following'.

But it doesn't show the cases the user is following of the current workpool of the user, but of the workpool of the first case of the app definition.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

  1. In application, on the tab ‘Cases & Data’, include multiple Case Types.
  2. Ensure that the first Case Type is of Workpool A, all the others are of Workpool B.
  3. Notice that when a user logs in the Case Manager portal with an Access Group which has in the advanced tab, the Workpool B and wants to follow a case of Workpool B, the ‘Following’ layout on the left will stays empty.

Root Cause

Currently the top most case (work pool) in Applications "Cases and Data" is getting picked and gets data from that pool.
Entire case manager behaves in this way, even in bulk processing gadget also.

Resolution
