Full description warning after saving a skin rule

Summary



For a skin rule, even though the 'Full Description' and 'Usage' have been entered, the skin rule shows warnings after the rule has been saved.  

Error Messages



"As Custom best practice, enter self explained full description"

Steps to Reproduce



Open a skin rule, enter text for 'Full Description' and 'Usage' and save the rule.

Root Cause



The root cause lies in the Rule- CheckForCustomWarnings activity in PegaSCM 06-02-40. In this activity, the values pyDecription and pyUsage are always set to blank for skin rules.  

Resolution



The below local-change will resolve the issue:
  • Save the activity Rule - CheckForCustomWarnings (PegaSCM 06-02-40) to the application ruleset.
  • Modify  the java code in step 1 as highlighted in the below screenshot:
