Generated PDF displays partial Chinese characters with '??' mark



The generated PDF displays incorrect bilingual data (English and Chinese). In some cases, the display of English data is correct, however, partial Chinese characters display with '??' mark.

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in to the application
  2. Run the custom Java code for creating PDF

Root Cause

The FontCache and ResouceCache Java store the resources in static map objects. When two threads or multiple threads are triggered for generating the PDF, at least one thread generates a PDF with issues.


Apply HFix-45430.
