generateddl.bat with upgrade Issue

SA-593

Summary

Pega administrator is using "generateddl.bat --action upgrade" script and it generates the SQL create script instead of SQL alter script.

Steps to Reproduce

You are upgrading from an older version of PRPC viz. 5.5SP1 single schema to Pega 7.1.5 split schema. You are running generateddl.bat with 'upgrade' action to generate alter schema script for schema upgrade.

Root Cause

Pega's generateddl tool does not support running upgrade when using synonyms. Here a seperate user schema is used for DB connection. This schema is an alias of the actual DB schema that contains PRPC objects.

Resolution

Use the actual DB schema instead of the Synonym when using generateddl script to generate alter SQL script for performing schema upgrade.
