Getting Error while selecting from drop down

Summary
User has a dropdown for which they have configured runscript on change.
In the script they are calling doFormSubmit('{URL}&pyActivity=activity&TaskName=taskselected');
When they are changing the values of the dropdown with key board, they are getting below error.
This action is not allowed as it is outside the current transaction.

Steps to Reproduce
create a dropdown.
for on change run a script doFormSubmit('{URL}&pyActivity=activity&TaskName=taskselected');
try to change values of dropdown with keyboard
Root Cause
Due to several enhancements from PRPC v5.5 to PRPC v7.x several security checks has been implemented and this is causing the issue.
Resolution
This issue is resolved through the following local change: Instead of calling the function on change of the dropdown value, they can call it on click of a button (a "Go" button for example) placed beside the dropdown.
