Grid is not rendering as expected in email correspondence



Grid is not rendering as expected in email correspondence, however same grid is rendering as expected in user portal.

Error Messages

Not Applicable.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a section with a repeat grid.
  2. Set grid style as Spreadsheet in presentation tab grid properties.
  3. Create a correspondence and include the above section in it.

Root Cause

A software use or operation error :
When grid is rendering in end user portal, the applicable skin is available then it will take applicable format and styles from it, grid will render as designed. However in email correspondence, the applicable skin is not available then it will render the grid with default styles.


Here’s the explanation for the reported behavior:  
If any inline styles are added to grid, then it will consider those inline styles and render accordingly in email correspondence.
Hence user is suggested to apply inline style.
