IE11 PRPC 6.2 sessions interfere with each other between tabs

Summary



Opening multiple sessions in different tabs on IE11 causes the sessions to interfere with each other. Logging off of one session will log off all sessions.

Steps to Reproduce



1. Open multiple PRPC 6.2 SP2 sessions on IE11.
2. Log off from one session.


Root Cause



A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment. Multi-tabbed PRPC 6.2 SP2 sessions are not supported.

Resolution



It is strongly recommended to upgrade to Pega 7 to support IE11.
