Images are not loading properly when accesses in IAC



User have a Pega screen exposed as gadget using Internet Application Composer (IAC) in an external application.

This screen has few buttons. Images of these buttons (Icons) are not displayed properly whenever loaded . This is happening intermittently and not always and are using Firefox 38.2 version of browser.


Error Messages

Invalid URL format for static content request:/!GESCore/webwb/Sort_Icon.pngwebwb/sort_icon_11737709475.png!!.png


Steps to Reproduce

Create an application with a screen having few images or buttons . Expose it in a gadget using IAC.

Root Cause

User has configured reverse proxy with context but did not include the below setting in prconfig.xml:

<env name="Initialization/ContextRewriteEnabled" value="true"/> should there in prconfig.xml


Perform the following local-change: 

Include below setting in prconfig.xml to resolve the issue:

<env name="Initialization/ContextRewriteEnabled" value="true"/>
