Import does not work when password has control characters

Summary
Unable to import using the prpcUtils.sh import utility when the password has control characters.
Error Messages
SAX parser exception - XML MalformedSteps to Reproduce
- Set the database password such that it contains a '&' character
- Use the prpcUtils.sh imort utility for deploying product jar files
- Pass control characters like &, <, >, ', " as the password
Root Cause
A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.
