Improper modal popup behavior

SA-23579

Summary

The user designed to open a modal window on clicking Save draft and Cancel buttons (flow action customized buttons). In the modal window, if the user clicks on Yes button, then the entire window should be closed.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a work object.
2. Configure Open modal dialog on any button.
3. Try to close the work object from modal dialog.

Root Cause

Cancel was designed on modal window button, but this does not close the entire window. It would only close the modal window.

Resolution

Perform any one of the local-changes:
  • Design window.parent.close.
  • Place an invisible button at the harness level, and configure "pega.u.d.doClose" on the button. Trigger the action on invisible harness button when clicking on Close button in the modal window.
