Inconsistent communication between PRPC and DSM servers



Communication between the core PRPC JVM and DSM (IS) JVM is inconsistent. This inconsistency is sporadic and seems to be triggered by scheduled restarts of the JVMs.

Steps to Reproduce

Restart the PRPC and DSM JVMs.

Root Cause

An issue in the custom application code or rules.


Perform the following steps.

1. Change the hostname from localhost to the IP Address of the server where the IS Service has been hosted and to set the port number accordingly.
2. Perform Revalidate and Save action.

3. Check the broken queue items and capture the exception if the issue reoccurs.
