Increasing pyLabel columns size of SR tables

SA-11531

Summary

As proposition management, you currently use "Description" field, which is mapped to pyLabel column of Database Tables that stores proposition records. This field currently has 64 byte size.

"Description" is used to store name of propositions. Standard naming and propositions name are changed to increase their size. Because of that, there is a need to abbreviate names to adhere to the size allowed. But this approach is not valid.

Can DB column, that stores proposition name (pyLabel of proposition tables), be altered to increase the size from 64 to 255 bytes.

Resolution

64 characters is the upper limit for the pyLabel property.

If there is a business requirement to display text that is larger than 64 characters, it is recommended to use a Paragraph rule instead.
