Installing Pega 7.1.8 does not split the database

SA-11117

Summary

When installing Pega 7.1.8 on SqlServer 2012, the installation ends with data and rules in the one database, even when the installation has been directed to install a split schema installation.
Therefore,
all the rules and data tables are inside a single database.

Error Messages

Not Applicable

Steps to Reproduce

Install Pega 7.1.8 on SqlServer 2012 with deployment username and the database name having the same value.

Root Cause

The display of the database in the SqlServer Management Studio can be confusing when the deployment username and the database name have the same value.

Resolution

The installation is correct.
There was a confusion between how the database and the two schemas and their contents were displayed by the SqlServer Management Studio.
The two schemas exist in the one database and the tables in the database have been divided between the two schemas.
