Summary

Unable to search for anything unless old: prefix is used. When re-index is clicked, there is no action performed.

Steps to Reproduce

Search for any rule without old: prefix. 

Root Cause

Configuration Issue- The Node ID value in SMA should match with Node ID value in Search Landing Page.  

Also, Pega 7.1.7 and above versions will require WebSphere 7 ( AppServer)  with fix pack 25 or above. 

Resolution

Ensure that the Node ID value in System Management Application (SMA) is similar to the Search Host Index Node ID in the Search landing Page.

Also the application server should be compatible with the PRPC.
