Issue with URL to Open Portal from Email





A URL link in an email calls ShowDesktop to Load the full Portal and then open work object/assignment. It works properly in Case Worker Portal. However the behavior is not correct when viewed in Case Manager Portal.

In Case Manager Portal, the URL loads properly but if the user closes the work object a blank screen is displayed. After that, if the user clicks on any link on the portal, the link opens in a new window. In Case Worker portal, on closing the work object, the home screen is reloaded and displayed properly. All subsequent clicks also work well.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Configure an email with link similar to <your_server>/prweb/sso?pyActivity=Data-Portal.ShowDesktop&isSnapStart=true&pyShowFullPortal=true&applicationName=<your_application_name>=openWorkByHandle&InsHandle=<your_work_object>
  2. Ensure that the link opens in your Case Manager Portal.
  3. Close the work object.
  4. Click any link in the portal.

SnapStart and showFullPortal support only single document portal(Case worker) and not for Case Manager Portal.
