SA-5346
Summary
With JAWS active, when you navigate to a checkbox field, the label associated with the checkbox is not being read. JAWS says - "checkbox not checked".
Error Messages
Not Applicable
Steps to Reproduce
1. Open a screen with multiple checkboxes.
2. Run the JAWS screen reader.
3. Navigate through the checkboxes and pay attention to what JAWS reads.
Root Cause
pxCheckBox control is used in the scenario. It is expected that you configure the label of the checkbox to the left or the right of the checkbox for JAWS to read out the checkbox label when it arrives at the checkbox field. In customer's application, the label is above the checkbox. This will not work.
Resolution
The explanation for this behavior is as follows:
Configure the label of the checkbox to the right or left of the checkbox.
