Kafka DataSet-Execute throws an error

Summary
RuntimeException occurs when using the DataSet-Execute method to write data to Kafka from a case. This occurs when a processing a case and using the DataSet-Execute method synchronously. However, the error does not occur when a standard agent uses the same activity.
Error Messages
** Java Exception: java.lang.RuntimeException: com.pega.dsm.dnode.api.BatchRecordException
Steps to Reproduce
Send case snapshots to Kafka.
Root Cause
A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment: AppDynamics settings.
Resolution
Make the following change to the operating environment:
Disable the AppDynamics Kafka correlation.
