KYC Type Rules on the built on application are not fetched

SA-9337

Summary

The KYC Type rules that are built on a rule set which is not in the Top level application rule (but is available on a built on application in the Stack) is not retrieved by the D_TempKYCTypes data page.

Error Messages

No Errors

Steps to Reproduce

1. Applications Stack:
"App A" built On "App B" which is built on "PegaKYC 07.12" version
2. Build rules in a rule set which is available in App B.
3. When the "DetermineValidKYCTypes" utility runs where the D_TempKYCTypes data page is referenced, the KYC type rules are not retrieved and populated.

Root Cause

The root cause of this problem is a defect in Pegasystems’ code/rules.

This is due to the FilterKYCTypes Report Definition which is the source for the data page having the "Filter By Application Context" box checked as shown below. The Report Definition is final so cannot be updated to change this setting. We believe that this report should be available to customize.

Resolution

HFix-21962 resolves this issue in KYC 7.12 by making the FilterKYCTypes Report Definition available, and unchecking the "Filter By Application Context" option.
