Summary



Launch of the Pega application fails with Application Installation Failed error. However, the login screen displays.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create Certificates for Android
  2. Build the application
  3. Download and install the application
  4. Launch the application


Root Cause



A defect or configuration issue in the operating environment. The SSL certificates did not have Certificate Authority (CA) as root.


Resolution

Make the following change to the operating environment: 

Define SSL certificates with Certificate Authority as root.
