Localization wizard deletes field values from locked rulesets

Summary



Localization wizard deletes the previous version of a rule from a locked RuleSet when updating the translation for a field value. This results in inconsistent rule counts between environments.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a field value
  2. Translate the field value to a new language using the localization wizard
  3. Lock the RuleSet associated with the new language
  4. Retranslate the field value with a new translation using the localization wizard and a higher version of the RuleSet. The field value is moved to the higher version and removed from the lower version of the RuleSet


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.


Resolution

Apply HFix-39318.
