Localization wizard deletes field values from locked rulesets

Summary



When updating the translation for a field value, localization wizard deletes the previous version of a rule from a locked ruleset. This results in inconsistent rule counts between environments.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a field value.
  2. Translate the field value to a new language using the localization wizard.
  3. Lock the ruleset associated with the new language.
  4. Retranslate the field value with a new translation using the localization wizard and a higher version of the ruleset. The field value is moved to the higher version and removed from the lower version of the ruleset.

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules.

Resolution



Apply HFix-45702.
