Mapping UTC dates fails in REST

Summary



Mapping a Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) formatted date from a REST connector to a datetime property fails with the error.


Error Messages



String "1970-01-01T09:31:07.000Z" is not a date time


Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create Connect-REST.
  2. Call a service which returns a UTC date value in JSON format.
  3. Try to map the UTC date value to a datetime property value.


Root Cause



A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules

Pega is not converting UTC format dates to GMT format when invoking Connect-REST.


Resolution



Apply HFix-34179.
